IRS Updates
Beginning 9/30/2025, the IRS is transitioning away from issuing paper checks as a means of refund. Providing a bank account for direct deposit of your refund is the quickest and safest way to receive money from the IRS. They are also looking to reduce the use of paper checks as payments by moving payments online. Right now, they are still accepting paper checks as a means of payment. Going forward, this will change and the IRS will require online payments. We highly recommend becoming familiar with the online payment options on the IRS.gov website.
